Tonight the Doomtree collective begins its ambitious tour (no, not a friggin’ reference to Madonna), the start of many, many days on the road - from January 19 to March 20, including SXSW dates from March 13 to 18 - introducing fans to the live versions of the songs from No Kings, written, recorded, mixed, mastered and released in 2011 in yet another ambitious, albeit tenacious, fashion.

Electro-pop group of metamorphosis, Metronomy have released an EP for their single, “Everything Goes My Way” (Big Beat / Because Music) in anticipation of their spring 2012 North American tour. The original single kicks off the 5-tracks, followed by remixes from Ewan Pearson, Jesse Rose, Enchante and Psychemagik.

As we try to survive these divided times, “Love Thine Enemy” from Cass McCombs’ 2011 release, Humor Risk, is a welcomed vibe compared to what exists outside our headphones. One that, whether intentionally or not, reminds us that no matter how much we’re surrounded my complete B.S. and hypocrisy, especially during this fierce and comical political battle, there is always “sincerity” and intention to balance things out.
